Well, definitely been awhile since I been in here. LOL So lets see if we can update a little bit...

Doing well as far as health, no more trips to the hospital anyway.. My cholesterol is a bit too high but otherwise all bloodwork looks good....Bruce had his done also & it all looks good, his cholesterol was just a tiny bit high, but nothing to worry over ( so the Dr says anyway) We have had a few ups & downs, but are doing pretty good, hell, everyone has an occasional argument. We have very few, but when we do they are doosies! LOL

As far as the car situation, we have parked the white car for now and thanks to Donna & Kevin we have another car, seems to run well after a few minor problems (I say that, now it will break down) LOL I do love it tho, (Thanks guys!)

Kim is having her tonsils removed this Wednesday (10/14/09) so hoping all goes well with that. Homecoming is on the 17th, she swears she is going, so will just wait & see I guess. Depends on how she is feeling. Her health isnt the greatest, her cholesterol is up & her liver enzymes are high, she has what is called a fatty liver now & she doesnt seem too concerned about it, even after talking with the Dr. & reading all the info they gave her, she still refuses to do the diet they gave her and to exercise. Dont know what we are going to end up doing with that problem, she is very stubborn.

Turk seems to be doing well, he says he loves the new place he has & the new job. he is in a relationship & seems very happy. I cant wait to see them all at Xmas this year!! He is planning to visit this weekend if he can get it off at work, so have my fingers crossed for that to happen. Man I miss him a bunch!

Well, thats about all I can think to write about for now, will try to get back in here sooner than I did this time LMAO

Been awhile since I been in here i know, and have no excuse really...well, yes I do, see I discovered this place called FaceBook...LMAO Yeah, I am addicted to it, the game called Farm Town has us all addicted to it. Was reading the stats on the game yesterday & they say it has over 1 million users per month...thats a lot of people, no wonder the game runs so slow most of the time!!

Not really a lot new in my life, suffering from a UTI that wont go away, was in the hospital with it for 3 days, that & being dehydrated & my blood pressure was dropping to oblivion when I would stand up, a new med is taking care of that, but I did have another bout with dizziness yesterday, not sure what that was about. And now I think I am getting a cold thanks to my eye doctor, he was sneezing & coughing & then fiddling with my eyes, I should have told him to go wash his hands again. lol

So, anyway, as for the PCs we did max out my memory, and everything seems to be doing ok (knock wood) & he got a new PC & got it all built up the way he wants it, except it needs more memory put in it, hopefully he will do that sometime. They both seem to be running ok for now I guess.

The car is broke down (again) and once again we cant find the problem this time either. One minute it is doing one thing the next minute it is doing something else! I think it just wants a break. LOL Seriously, I wish we could get it fixed again, but on a positive note, we are (trying) to get the truck legal so we will have somethig to drive until we can get the car going again (if we ever do)

Nothing new to talk about, so I guess I will close for now, Hope all are doing well & hope life is treating you well.

Okay, lets see, I came here last week & wrote a big long post & when I went to post it, it just disappeared, so this time I am going to copy it before i post it & maybe it will make it thru! LOL

Not much happening by way of the losing weight thing, I have gained back most of what i lost, but I havent given up yet! I need to get back into the exercising part more & the eating better. I have been trying to eat smaller portions & have been doing ok with that but i get the munchies in between meals & it is so hard to not eat! Not to mention the binge eating that I did a couple times too.

So now, back to the beginning & I will try it again, eat right & exercise. God, how I wish my treadmill was fixed! (me cry) I think I am going to see if i can get Paul to come over & take a look at it this week sometime, he prolly wont though, I doubt it is fixable anyway.

It is supposed to be nice the next couple of days so I may try to go out & walk, but the road is so damn muddy I will prolly end up busting my ass! I can see me crawling home covered in mud to my eyeballs!!! (Donna dont laugh, or I will make you walk with me!) LOL

Kim doesnt seem to be doing so good either, but not because she doesnt want to. Because of the foods they buy & fix over there, she is just too tempted & she cant fix what she doesnt have. It pisses me off that they dont care any more about her than that. You would think that they would at least worry about HER health, even if they dont give a f#ck about their own! I just dont think that they grasp the fact that they are killing her.

Anyway, on to a happier note now....Bruce has been sprucing up the computers here, he bought him a new tower on Ebay for $100. which was a great deal! Because his computer crashed, thanks to Microsoft (they put out an update that interfered with ZoneAlarm & screwed up his internet connection, and we didnt now how to get rid of it, so he tried getting rid of ZoneAlarm & it wiped out the whole PC.)

So anywhoooo....He had already got me a huge flat screen monitor for Xmas, and speakers. So now for V-Day he got me 1 GB of memory, a new DVD Drive, a new wireless optical mouse, a new keyboard & also a 8GB thumb drive. Then he installed a 2nd hard drive (80GB) (from his old PC) so now I have a total of 120GB hard drive! Did I mention I love my computer!!

He also put a 2nd hard drive in his new tower, which gave him 120 GB total hard drive too. Got a new keyboard, and I got him new speakers for V-Day, he is using the monitor from my Dell, and I am going to get him a new mouse too (although he says he dont want one)

So we are both tricked out pretty good for now, but later on I am gonna get another 1 GB of memory which will max mine out. And he is going to add a 1 GB to his plus the 256MB from mine, so he will be zooming along too. (His will hold 4GB of memory!!)

These keyboards are really cool, they have buttons that do all kind of things, you can open your folders with just the touch of a button or you can shut it all down with just the touch of a button. Well worth the $15.00 we paid for them (Got them at Big Lots if anyone is interested in one)
So, anyway, enough about computers (for now anyway) LOL

Gonna hop on off here now & find something else to do for awhile, hope everyone is doing fine & please feel free to leave me your link to your blog in the comment section, I promise to read them!

Okay, where to start, lets see..... Well, I didnt manage to go back on the cabbage diet, but I have been eating healthy, actually I have been sick all week with my stomach so I havent ate much of anything. I am back down to a 6.5 lb loss so that is good I guess. I have been drinking more water though, and I think that is helping some, I dont know though, but I feel like it is. ( I slush when I walk) LOL

Kim is doing well too, she seems to have a bit more energy & not quite as depressed, about the weight part anyway. She is having a few problems otherwise though, her grades have plumitted and she says it is from the stress of worrying about the college thing, so I am pulling her out of it & I told her that her grades need to come up ASAP. I hate to see her quit, but afterall, without high school the college thing means nothing. We had a family meeting to discuss this & a couple other things & she seems to be in better spirits now, at least she left here smiling. Her Dad says she is in better spirits today & she cleaned up her room over there so she must be feeling a bit better anyway.

I made a new friend from my weight loss group, her name is Lori & we have a lot of the same tastes, and a lot of the same problems. We have been emailing each other all week & I really like her, too bad we dont live closer though! LOL Anyway, she is someone to talk to & share ideas with. I really love this new weight loss group, it is very upbeat & fun & there are all kinds of forums, it is really on a craft site, but it has so many different things there you wouldnt even realize it is all craft related! The Diet

Okay, lets catch up a bit...The diet is going okay, it went great the first week (the cabbage diet) I lost 6 lbs. Then for the second week I have gained back 4 lbs. So much for the eating sensibly! I plan to go back to eating nothing but fruits, veggies & the cabbage soup, at least for a few weeks. Seems that is prolly the only way i am going to lose this friggin weight. Bruce has no clue if he lost or gained cause he never took a beginning weight. I did manage to lose an inch off my waist, but gained back half that too. Really is kind of depressing.

Oh well, at least I am exercising some, I have been doing the cardio machine & the stationary bike & 20-30 sit ups a day, so i am feeling better about that & I at least feel healthier anyway. I still keep smoking though, but I do plan to get started walking this spring & then I am going to use walking in place of the cigs & try to get off them again too. I really want to make this happen again, but it just seems like it is battling me to lose. Like I said, pretty depressing.

Good news is Kim has decided to do this with me, she is trying this time too. She has started doing some exercises & is taking 2 fitness classes at school now, so that will really help her out. I just hope she doesnt get discouraged with it & quit. It really is hard not to just say the hell with it some times. But she really wants her belly button pierced so I hope she will truly give this all her best.

I got me a water bottle today, it holds 24 ounces, I am planning to start drinking at least 2 of these a day of flavored water or lemonade as well as all my damn coffee! LOL They say that lots of water is the main ingredient to weight loss so i guess I will give it a try, although I loath the stuff! At least I can have the flavored waters without any calories in them & they dont taste too awful bad.

Okay, enough about the diet craze that is taking over my life! LOL Sorry to bore you all with my life, but dont have a whole hell of a lot else to chat about!

Well, hope your holidays were all wonderful, & wish you love, luck & joy in the new year!

Let's see now...Oh, I need to tell you what Bruce got me for christmas...I got a new flat screen computer monitor (22inch) This thing is huge!! I love it. And I got a new set of Altec Lansing computer speakers, these babies will rock now let me tell ya, bass like you wouldnt believe! Shakes my whole desk! LOL Also got some odds & ends things like perfume & clothes, kids got me some new slippers & a beautiful lighted fountain to sit on my desk, it is leaves & the water runs down into a bed of rocks...Bruce & I spent 8 hours of painting on adhesive, waiting till tacky & then adding gold leaf to it...The fountain now looks like it is solid gold. Bruce liked his massager I got him, and all the other odds & ends he got too. The kids made out like bandits as usual! LOL Kim really loved her Ilive boom box & Turk really likes his MP3 touch player. So I guess everyone got what they wanted for the most part.

Turks visit went well, although he didnt visit much with us. He stayed at his Dads most of the time. He seemed to enjoy hisself though & that is what matters most. Kim goes for her first visit to the university on the 17th of this month (Sat after next) I really do hope she enjoys it. I really want to see her make something of herself.

Bruce & I started off the new year with going on a diet LOL...We started the cabbage soup diet last Monday (the 5th) So far I have lost 2.5 lbs in only four days!! (Yippy for me!) Bruce says he feels better now than he did when he started, so thats a bonus, I dont really feel any different, but maybe I will by the end of the week. We are going to do it on a week off a week, but eat VERY sensibly during the week we are off it. I didnt buy any meats except fish & chicken breasts, and no junk foods or high fat foods at all, if we dont have them we cant eat them!

I really do hope we can get this weight off again & this time stay eating sensibly & exercising. I started out slowly with that, only doing a few sit ups & some squats & arm lifts for now. I am going to drag out the old stationary bike though & get some leg exercises in on it...hoping to build up some leg muscle so I can start walking again come spring. Thats when the weight will come off a lot better. Hope I can stick with this for life this time!!

I am also hoping I can get Kim to join us in this diet & to start exercising too, she really needs it as much as we do, her sugar is starting to stay elevated & she is going to be diabetic if she dont start doing something about it now. Although I dont know how I can get her Dad to start cooking better foods & to watch the portion thing for her...I am going to see if her Dr will refer her to a nutritionist so she can at least learn what a right portion of food is. I know she can do this if she really wanted to. She is such a beautiful girl, and so smart, I hate to see her downed by a disease like diabetes, or any thing else that could go wrong from the extra weight she is carrying, I know I struggle so much with mine & it is a continual thing that never seems to get better, only keeps getting worse. I really hope she will do this with us.

Well ,anyway, I guess thats enough for now, will write again as soon as there is more to write about. LOL

Gee, where to start... well, the birthday thing was a bust, Donna & Cindy & families came down for dinner, but due to the weather no one else made it. No one would get wasted with me though, so i just got wasted all by myself! LOL Guess there isnt really that much difference in being 40, I still dont feel it & I hope I dont act like it!

The Xmas Party was good though, almost everyone made it to that, only a couple who didnt. Turk did manage to make it in too, was very happy about that. He goes back on the 27th, hope the weather is good. Got quite a few gifts for Xmas, & love them all, Thanks going out to all, we loved everything & hope you liked yours too. Bruce & I are waiting to open our gifts from each other on Christmas eve (or Christmas morning we havent decided for sure yet) We have decided that next year we are going to try a few things differently, will post on that closer to next Xmas.

Not much more to write about, hope all are well & hope your holidays are wonderful...will write more after the new year!! Be Happy & Be safe!!

Wow, December already! Boy this year sure has went fast. Time flies I guess. Not a lot new as usual, but will try to post something here anyway. All is well with Bruce & I , Kim has a slight cold, but seems to be getting better, Turk called on T-day to wish us a good one. Not sure he will be able to make it down for Xmas, but I sure hope he does. He did put in his order for what he wants though. lol

Got most of my shopping done for Xmas, except for Turks stuff & two of Kims things. Bruce still needs to go shopping for Chrystal & family, but as usual he is waiting till the last minute. Going to Washington on Thursday, so maybe will get some shopping done then. Bruce is a bit more in the Xmas spirit every year that goes by, but he still hates the gifts thing, dont think he ever will like that part of it. He does like the decorations though...(except putting them up) hehehe

Got out my invites for the Bday get together & some of the ones for the Xmas party, the rest of those go out today. I hope everyone can make it, so far it looks like they can. Hope nothing changes that. Will be starting on my Xmas baking here in a few days, not a lot to make, but want to do what I can as soon as I can, no one knows what the future holds & I know that for sure!

Wow, been awhile again! LOL Guess I just dont have enough to write about huh? Well, let me see...Kim's Homecoming went well, she seemed to have a good time with her friends. She went to the Upward Bound meeting, should hear from them in another week or two whether or not she gets accepted. I really hope she does, she is looking forward to it & this would be a big leap to get her started into the college life (we hope) She would be giving up most of her summer for the next three years to do this, but it will be worth it in the long run. She also went to the Vo-Tech last week to check out the classes they offer...she will start there next year. She chose Forensics as her major & is thinking of cosmetology as her minor, but isnt sure yet...Bruce joked that with those two trainings she will be working in a funeral home! LMAO

Bruce & I are doing well, he is not able to do as much now without chest pain or discomfort, but for the most part is trying to stay in a good mood, gets really hard sometimes though...especially if he has time to sit & think for awhile...he starts to dwell on the bad things & gets pretty depressed. Cant blame him though, I would be too if I was in his shoes. I guess all we can do is just take it one day at a time.

I stopped taking the new med they gave me (Effexor) Lets just say that my sex drive went caputt & leave it at that. LOL I am still taking the increase of the Abilify though & it seems to be doing okay, havent really noticed much of a change though, dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing! I try to keep my spirits up, but just like Bruce, if I am given time to think & dwell on things, it gets to me too. I have been doing better with getting the house work done...maybe thats the effects of the med???? who knows.

I have most of the stuff done for the Xmas party, and have most of my decorations up already! LOL Guess I just cant wait till Xmas gets here (as usual) I am waiting till after T-day to put up my tree though.

I am also planning a small party for my 40th Birthday next month too...just a few friends for drinks & laughs is all. Invites go out soon for that & invites for Xmas party will be going out first week of December.

Not a lot more I can write about, & I think this is long enough anyway, so will close for now.

Well, Gee, lets see... Been awhile since I been here huh?...Whats new....Well, Kims homecoming was postponed due to an accident of 2 of her classmates. It is now this Friday Nov 7. She made the honor roll in school, and she is applying for a program called Upward Bound that will (hopefully) help her get into college.

Bruce & I are doing well, except that he isnt feeling well, I think he may be getting a cold or something. I have been started on a new drug for my nerves & one was increased, been about a week now, and it seems it may be helping some, but too soon to really tell. I dont feel as depressed now as I did a week or two ago, so I guess thats one thing huh?

Not really a lot I can say, not much new in my life, so I will close for now, and I will try to get back in here before too long next time.

Life is a bit better now than it has been (not a whole lot though) LOL Bruce & I are getting along a bit better so that is always a plus. Kim is getting ready for her Homecoming dance next weekend, I added a pic of her in her gown over there-->
She seems to be really excited about it, I hope she has a lot of fun there too. Doesnt take long for them to grow up.

Bruce's birthday is tomorrow, we celebrated it today though, had Piza & cake & ice cream. LOL But I think him & I are going to have a couple drinks later just the two of us, maybe cuddle a bit ( me hopes) LOL

Been awhile since I been in here, not really a lot going on in my life. Been a few bad days for Bruce & I both and we are getting on each others nerves a bit too often, but we are pulling thru it day by day. Not really any thing to post so I will just post a little thing I found online that I liked very much & kind of pertains to my moods the last week or so. Hope all are healthy & happy.

Well, I guess I am feeling a little bit better today than I have been the last few days. I have managed to clean the house up a bit (of course it doesnt look like it after Bruce goes thru it! ) LOL

I have kept busy the last 2 days making Tshirts...well not actually making the shirt, but putting a funny design on the front of them, they arent the greatest, but the look ok & it is a lot of fun doing them (except now I have run out of Tshirts!) Guess I will have to find something else to do. I have some ornaments that need painted, maybe I can talk myself into doing those. Have a couple little birdhouses to do too. Guess I will have to at least dig out the paints.

Found out this week that I have 'diabetic neuropathy' (nerve damage from the diabetes) in my feet & legs, bet thats what I have in my hands too, but they werent tested. I started a new med (neurontin) for that yesterday, so far no side effects, but I dont feel any better either! LOL I ended up taking a bit too much insulin yesterday too, thought I was a gonner for a little bit (no I didnt do it intentionally) Thanks to Bruce (and a container of cake icing) I made it thru it though.

He is a really great guy, my knight in shining armor as they say. Always there to pull me thru whatever the problem is or just to lend a shoulder to cry on. Thank you Sweetheart for always being here for me, even though there are times you would like to kill me!! You are what keeps me going in this crazy world. Love ya MTL

I would also like to say Thank you to a great friend for throwing her two cents out there too. Thanks Donna!!

Well, let's see...where to start at?... Bruce went to tow the car home, & of course it started, so we are back to square one, we still dont know what is wrong & we cant fix what aint broke, so again we wait. I swear that thing is just a stranding waiting to happen! LOL

Well, I knew it, I said that once they put new tires on something else would go wrong with the car...it didnt even make it out of the parking lot at the tire place! Wont start now, going to have to tow it home tonight, then try to figure out what the hell is wrong with it now! I tell ya what, I am about to say FUCK IT! If it aint one thing wrong, it has to be twenty! Life REALLY sucks sometimes...or maybe it's just my life that really sucks?

The funeral went well, they did a really good job on her, she looked like she was just sleeping. Got to see a lot of people I havent seen in a long time, so that was kool anyway. Kim is complaining of not feeling well, but I think most of it was just boredom (it was pretty boring over there) Hope she isnt coming down with anything again..we really dont need to get sick now too.

Well, the food thing is going okay, still working to control portion sizes though, it is hard not to go for seconds! Maybe i should stop cooking good stuff?? I ordered 2 exercise tapes (dance aerobics) so hopefully Kim & I will both get into this & lose some weight. It should be fun anyway. I dont foresee Bruce doing aerobics, but he is starting to walk a little bit, his leg is still too bad to do too much.

My Ex hubby's Grandmother (guess that would be my ex-grandmother-in-law?) passed away this week, so I have a funeral to go to today, not looking forward to that, good thing is I wont have to stay too long. I hate funerals.

Hopefully I am getting the tire fixed on my car today, Bruce is supposed to take it down at 9 this morning to have them changed. So maybe I will have my car again, at least until something else goes wrong with it! I swear I think we all should go back to horse & buggy days! at least when something went wrong then, you just shot the damn horse & got a new one....wonder if insurance will cover a shooting of my car? ROFL

Well, Bruce saw the Dr.... He gave him a med for pain, (Neurontin) seems he has some neuropathy (burning & tingling sensation) going on from the knot laying against a nerve in his leg. Other than that he said to just take it easy on it & wait a couple more months to see if the sweliing goes down or not. He seems like an ok Dr...for a first visit that is. Hope he dont turn out to be a quack. LOL Most of the bruise is disipated but the knot is still there as big as ever & as painful as ever, so hopefully the med will help it.

I managed the grocery shopping, I bought mostly healthy stuff, and what junk I bought is good junk if eaten in moderation. So far so good, we are getting used to it pretty easily (in my opinion) We tried salmon fillets for the first time last night, a bit dry but not too bad, more like a meat than a fish. I tried fried zucchini for the first time, it is yummy! Will defo be having that again. Now if we could just get motivated to start exercising we would be good to go! But I dont see that happening too soon yet! LOL One step at a time I guess.

I got an email today, talking about boredom...wanna talk boredom? Boredom is when you have so many things that need done, yet you choose not to do them...instead you park your ass in front of a computer & sit there all day hitting the 'StumbleUpon' button repeatedly, looking for something that will attract your attention for longer than 30 seconds!! Now that is boredom! Why do we do this & not do the things we should do? Because we are lazy. Yep, plain old laziness. So you see, boredom is actually just lazy people trying to get out of doing things, and complaining about it!! ROFLMAO

So next time you are 'bored'...pull up a chair & start stumbling with the rest of us!!

Well, Bruce finally decided to see a Dr, he has an appt for next Wednesday (Aug 6) So hopefully he will find out good news & no surgery will be needed, but either way he needs to see the Dr.

Still battling the depression but not as bad as before, we spent the evening talking yesterday & that really helped a lot. Guess I just needed to know that it is okay to feel the way I do sometimes. And that life really does suck, it aint just all in my head! LOL Thank you Sweetheart, you are still my knight in shining armor!

We have decided to {TRY} to start eating healthier, so when I go shopping this month I have to attempt to get food that is healthy AND cheap! Good luck to me huh? LOL My plan is to get just what we have to have like coffee & bread, then get a lot of fruits & veggies for sides & snacks. Dont know how long this will last, but we did it before, I hope we can do it again.

I have found that music is a great anti-depressant, when I listen to music it is hard to think of all the bad shit in life, and I can just forget it for awhile. So if you are depressed, try it & maybe it will help you out too....(The sappy crappy dont help though! LOL)

Yeah, his leg is still swollen & looks like hell & still hurts as bad as it did 2 weeks ago, although he does have a bit better range of motion than he did 2 weeks ago, so I guess thats good any way. Hopefully he will agree to go see a Dr to have it checked sooner or later. Anyone who reads this needs to give him a lecture to go to the damn Dr!!! LMAO (not that he will listen anyway) I love ya Sweetheart!

Sorry about the rant last post, but i guess i was just in a bad mood & having a really bad day. I am feeling somewhat better now, not quite as depressed anyway. I guess you just have to learn to take life in stride, one day at a time. Kind of hard to do that when life keeps throwing curve balls at ya though!! LOL

How can a person have so much that needs done & still be bored out of their mind?? I guess because housework just doesnt count as something fun to do! LOL

Has anyone else noticed the price you have to pay to do anything? I mean you have to pay outrageous prices for the gas to go anywhere, then pay outrageous prices for anything you buy or do. You cant even afford to just sit at home any more because the price of utilities has went up too!! I just dont understand how they expect the middle class to live, let alone the lower class! And all the rich assholes just keep getting richer. How do they do it?

Hell, you cant even afford to buy food any more, not even the cheap junk food, let alone the healthy stuff. Really, how do they expect people to live? Are they trying to kill off some of the human race or what? Wouldnt it be easier just to line everyone up & start shooting? At least then people wouldnt have to suffer so much before they went. Crazy fucking world I swear!

Anyway, not a lot in my life right now, pretty depressed lately, guess I am just letting life get to me too much. Healthcare really sucks too, so no one can get the care they need unless they are paying $1000.00 a month insurance policies & who the hell can afford that? Oh, yeah, the rich assholes thats who!

Life really sucks sometimes, especially the parts you cant do anything about no matter what you do or dont do. Kind of makes you just stop caring what happens any more, you cant change it anyway.

Well, the birthday gift from hell was a success...along with everything else she got. Did take a few minutes to figure out how to put songs on the damn thing though, but we did it!! LOL I just hope the damn thing lasts a very long time, I really do NOT want to buy another MP3 Player! EVER!

Then last night I turn on MY MP3 player ... white screen ... nothing else... I was about to scream & then Bruce says 'you have a 2 year warranty' (me smiles) Ok, well, lets see if we can fix it first, lets reformat it (even though it erased everything that was on it) Still no go...I give up. Bruce pushes in reset button & it comes on (Thank you Sweetheart) So then today I spent over 2 hours putting all my songs together, renaming them with song title first, & loading them & a bunch of pics onto my MP3 Player(again) ....It seems to be working fine BTW.

Now, another long, boring day coming slowly to an end. Starting dinner soon, think I will cook on the grill again tonight....

Well, talk about Birthday gifts from hell!!!....Bought that damn Ipod for Kim for her Birthday, charged that sucker up, easy enough, just plug it in. Then today I decide to see how hard it would be to put music on it (big mistake) I had to download a program called Itunes, 57MB file, took 25 minutes to download & install on high speed internet (Dialup users dont even go there!)

Then it says "Itunes store, buy your MP3's for only $.99 cents"....excuse me???? I already bought the $200.00 player, now you want me to pay for the songs??? So now at this point I am thinking 'Uh Huh this sucker is getting sent back!' But luckily for it, I found out I can use the songs already on my PC that have been downloaded (free) from Limewire (the best music place around) BUT I can only use the Ipod on one computer or else the library will be deleted & replaced with the library on the next computer!! I tell you this is the biggest money making scheme I have ever seen!

I know that if this child asks for one more MP3 player in the next 20 years.....I will kill her!!!!

Well, managed the plans for Kim's Party, it is going to be on her birthday (the 18th) and it is going to be here pool or no pool. If we dont have the pool open in time for it we are going to take her to Ryerson on the Saturday or Sunday following the party to spend the day. We are just doing a small cook out thing here for her party, she did all her invitations & we mailed them out today, so hopefully all her friends will be able to come.

I have pretty much managed to maim my other foot by kicking myself repeatedly with this stupid cast thingy (and dont you dare make a smart ass remark about it!) I KNOW I am not supposed to kick myself!! LOL.......I will be soooo glad when this thing comes off for good.

Havent made it to doing anything with the pool yet, has been raining & storming all week & is supposed to keep on for the rest of this week at least, maybe longer for all we know!! Will have to wait a bit longer on getting the sand I guess....but at least we have a truck to haul it in now!! Yep, we bought a truck with the wedding money we got, not anything to write home about, but it gets from point A to point B! At least now Bruce has a way to work safely (not to mention legally) & I definitely feel better about that! Got to remember to get those old plates to DeWeese's office in the next 28 days though!

Still wearing this stupid cast thingy...I swear I think my foot was already healed & they just want to make me suffer more!! I have resorted to even sleeping in the damn thing because I dont want to wake up Bruce trying to put the damn thing on in the middle of the night!!! I will definitely be glad when I can take it off for good!!

Bunny is still running loose as far as we know ( unless she got eaten by something) Havent seen her in a few days now, so could be...Kitty is fine, growing like a bad weed & getting more & more spoiled every day! She is definitely a Daddys girl! I cant believe how attached he has gotten to her already! They have this little ritual where he leaves for work & she sits on his desk & looks out the window for him...then she plays for about 3 hours & then sleeps the rest of the day until night time then they play in the bedroom until we go to sleep (with her on one side & me on the other!)...Kind of comical to see Bruce so attached like he is, he is definitely not a kitty kind of guy in any other way...but it is so sweet to see her cuddle up to him at night, and know he really doesnt mind at all.

Went today & had my 'cast' put on my foot, it is one of those blow up air thingys & it looks ridiculous! (Can you say robocop?) {rolls eyes} Guess I have to live with this stupid thing for at least 4 weeks, maybe longer. At least I can take it off at night though, and to take a bath too!

Not really alot to post about, I lead a pretty boring life....The pool liner came, I guess we are (might) try to get some sand & get it together this weekend or next. That should be another adventure...The pool from hell part 2...The saga continues!! ROFLMAO

Well, lets see...where to start....

The boil is getting a bit better with the help of an antibiotic. Have since found out that my foot is broken, a 'stress fracture'...It has caused a lot of stress!! LMAO

The wedding went wonderful, no rain (well not until late into the reception anyway). The wedding nite was a bit out of sorts, I ended up getting drunk enough to pass out & then passing out! Had the hangover from hell today. (My fault I know) But feel a lot better now. Bruce is threatening to have the wedding annulled though LOL Lets just say he isnt too happy that I got drunk on our wedding night. Wish I could go back & do it over, and stay sober & let him get drunk! Maybe he would be in a better mood then...I doubt it.

Why is it that men are never happy no matter what you do or dont do?? Oh well, guess that is just a part of life too.

Anyway, Thanks going out to all who attended the wedding & all who helped out, especially to Cindy & Donna, you guys are a life saver!!!

I made a statement a few days ago ....."Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong"........Well, looks like I was right! LOL

My foot still is painful & some swelling, the antibiotic has ended, so I look for it to get worse again...I now have a new addition to my problems, I have a huge boil, yep, you guessed it, right on the you-know-where! (Should make for a lovely wedding night...maybe we will go to WalMart instead??) (Personal joke) ROFL Going to call the Dr as soon as they open, so maybe get it taken care of, but doubtful will be better before the wedding.

As I said before, it is supposed to rain on the wedding day, so now I am still trying ot come up with a plan B course of action! (Any ideas?) All I have come up with so far is to put all the food inside & get married standing in the rain! ....Well, its the best plan so far!

Guess what they say is true...If it wasnt for bad luck, Id have no luck at all.....

Yeah, well, looks like the pool is definitely not going to be open for the wedding. But we probably wont need it anyway, it is supposed to have severe T-storms on Friday & Saturday, so the rehearsal & wedding will prolly be quite wet without a pool! Just my luck huh?

I am going to have to come up with a plan B for all the food, I may just set up a buffet type thing on the back porch, it would be cooler there anyway. Screws with me making my exit to walk up the aisle though, maybe set it from the front porch? who knows!...I hate this, i knew this would happen though, should have planned better for this. Maybe I will have the wedding on the back porch & the reception at the twp bldg! LMAO I knew I should have got that canopy!

Hhhmmmm where to start...

Well, the pool might not be trash yet, seems some family & friends have decided that it should not die yet. They have gathered amongst themselves & devised a plan to get a pool liner for it as a wedding gift to Bruce & I. (We think they have completely lost their minds, but ok...we will give it one more try.) Although I dont think it is going to be open for the wedding guys, we still have to find some sand before we can put in a liner! LOL But it will be open (I hope) for my daughters birthday party, which is what really matters.

But anyway, I would like to take a little space here just to say thank you to each of them for their generosity & most of all for their love. Thank you all so very much, I cant find words to say what this means to us. We will think of you all each time we jump into that ice cold water and freeze our asses off!!! LOL

Well, we managed to get the mulch on the flower beds, had enough to do all but one small one, I used peat moss on it & it looks as good as the others, just a different color is all!! LOL

The pool remains just sitting there & is probably going to remain so for a long time to come. I hope it blows away! Stupid thing, we could have done so much other stuff instead of fucking with that damn thing! Oh well, too late to cry about it now. I just hope my luck gets better & not worse!

Wedding is in 12 days & I have done no food shopping yet & still need to get a couple gifts for the wedding party & it is all beginning to frustrate me a little bit! I guess this is where a wedding planner & caterer would be handy! LOL Yeah, I wish!!! I guess what will be, will be.

As you can probably tell, I am feeling a bit depressed today, not really sure why exactly, not any one thing I can put my finger on, just a lot together maybe? Or maybe just a mood swing... Whatever it is i hope it goes away soon!!

The pool from hell!!!

Well, we patched the pool, attempted to refill it & the side collapsed, emptying the pool & washing away part of the sand.....gathered friends & scattered the sand, repositioned the liner (not an easy job, and we all looked (& felt) like we had been working in a ditch all day) & began filling it again, whole side collapsed (the metal part too) due to a very large leak (that we have not found yet) washing away all the sand & letting the side fall in. Which is where we stand with it now...what does the future hold for the pool from hell?? Hhhhmmmmm...we are faced with the option of trying to find the huge hole that is unfindable, patching it, getting more sand & redoing the liner all over again, then hoping it will work...or....tearing down the pool & using the deck as a band stand & the sand area as a dance floor for the wedding, then making a zen garden from the sand area & using the deck as an add on to the back porch (this is my choice!!) Whichever we decide (or is decided for us by the pool from hell) it is going to equal one thing...more work!
Either way we go the pool wont be open for the wedding & there is gonna be some unhappy kiddies, but oh well. Hope Donna is ready for some kids that wanna swim this year!! LOL

Otherwise all seems to be well, Bruce & I are managing thru all the BS without getting on each others nerves too badly (so far) We are going to try to get the mulch on the flower beds today, but it is hotter than hell, so we will have to take our time & work slow...we shall see how that goes.

Called the Dr on Monday, she seems to think that I may have cellulitis? (sp) She put me on an antibiotic (which I started yesterday & am nauseas as hell today) She also wants me to have a bone scan done on it just in case, she says it is possible for a bone to split & an x-ray wont pick it up, so I go for the bone scan on the 11th. Will let ya know how that comes back. Either way I intend to go up that aisle on the 21st if I have to crawl up it!!

I talked with the reverend about the rehearsal & the wedding & we walked thru a bit of the things we will be doing & where we are having it. All seems to be on track with that part anyway. I got some of the booze for the reception, still have a couple more kinds to get. Still need to pick up a few odds & ends for decorations, and of course get the food, which is going to be the hard part.

Working on my flower bed out back, it still looks a little bit bare, but I think it will be ok by the wedding. The pool got drained & the holes are all circled...now got to find something to patch them with so we can get it filled up as soon as this damn rain stops! I am hoping to have it done by this weekend or over the weekend one or the other. Will prolly have to suck all the water back out again & wait for it to dry before we can patch it. Bruce says you can buy some kind of stuff that you can patch under water, so it would be great if we could get that stuff. Guess we will see.

Waaaahhhh my foot hurts!! Still the same as it has been, no better at all. Very painful to walk on it, but only slightly painful if I keep it elevated & wrapped in a ice pack! LOL I am calling my doctor on Monday & try for an appointment, maybe she can get me a better x ray or something.

Planning to try for a bit of a tan today if the sun makes it out. If all I can do is sit around, I may as well get a tan in the process! LOL I am sure there will be zero sun though, since I want there to be! My luck, it will prolly rain!

Bruce managed to mow the entire yard yesterday, after spending the day before working on the tractor from hell! It started out needing a new belt, it got 2 new belts, got it all together & then it decided to quit running again...got that fixed, then he broke the blade & had to replace that! After an entire day spent on the tractor, it is back together & seems to be doing ok. Now for the pool...

Well the pool is almost completely drained, so it needs to be cleaned out today, then we will have to search for the hole that is in it (guessing from the deer being in it) & patch that before it can be filled back up again, then about 2 days to refill it & get the chlorine in it & the algeacide working good before anyone can swim in it...prolly gonna have another cold spell then! ROFL

To update on everything...

Kitty's paw has gotten better now, she is rotten as ever, as is the bunny...you should see these two romp on the front porch together!! LOL I did manage to get the flowers planted...but managed to mess my foot up in the process! Hospital says nothing is broke, but I think they are crazy! It is still swollen since last Sunday & it is still just as painful, if not more so. I hate hospitals!!!

Well, it appears people are actually reading this thing, so I guess I should at least keep posting to it!! LOL

The kitty is still doing well, although she had developed a limp in her hind paw for some reason unknown to any of us. The bunny got outside briefly today & was highly pissed when she was brought back in so soon due to Bruce power washing the house, but I think she has gotten over it now! LOL

I finally managed to get the trellis to sit straight in the front walkway, now all I need do is decorate it for the wedding, but not going to do that until the day of the wedding. Bruce has the outside of the house pretty clean, almost looks like it was re-painted! I got more flowers to put in the front yard by the driveway, but cant plant them until Sunday due to using weed killer. Everything seems to be coming together for the most part.

Now I want to rant a little bit...

Went to the grocery store today & picked up just a few things we needed & ended up spending over $100 just for one little cart of stuff & 3 prescriptions!. How are people supposed to get by now? Gas is so frigging expensive you cant afford to go anywhere, now food is going outrageous, whats next? Soon people will resort to stealing & even killing to get what they need for their families...weird & crazy world we live in, you would think the government would be more worried about its people being able to survive than whether or not Hillary gets it for President!! LMAO She sure as hell aint going to help a damn thing!! Stupid fucks!

Managed to get bunny out today, I fenced in the front porch & put her out there for awhile...she loved it, she ran & jumped for 2 hours. I put the kitten out there with her for a while they got along good together except the kitten wants to scratch the bunnies face, she is just playing with her, but I am worried she will hit one of bunnies eyes. Both are back in their beds now, sound asleep, guess it wore them out! LOL It is supposed to be nice all weekend, so maybe I will leave bunny out all day, as long as we are here, I am afraid a dog or something might get her if I leave her out when we are gone.

This is turning into a animal blog! LOL So I guess I should say something about the upcoming wedding...

All seems to be coming along okay, I still have to get the food & the booze, but otherwise I think I have everything I need, thanks to a few really good friends (soon to be family) who I WILL name (Cindy, Donna, Keith for making the cake tier, & Sonya & Kim for being my bridesmaid & maid of honor (these 2 dont know the half of what they are in for!!LOL) They are all pitching in their time & expertise at all this planning & setting up stuff, couldnt do it without you! Thank you all!!

Well, I got my kitty shopping all done, i got her a bed & some toys (she loves the little mice) & I got her 2 kinds of food. She is eating well now & loves to watch the chipmunks & birds out the dining room window. I gave her a 'bath' with the kitty wash cloths I have & she smells a lot better now! She hasnt quite mastered the art of bathing herself yet, I hope she keeps learning tho! LOL She seems to like the new bed, she has been sleeping in it all afternoon, and she just got up, used the litter box & ate some milk & is now back in her bed again just sitting in it looking around. She loves to watch TV too, she sat on my shoulder last night on the couch & watched TV with me till I went to bed. I have been keeping her in the bathroom at night, but i think i will leave her out tonight & see how it goes.

Didnt manage to get bunny out yesterday, she is still charging my hand when I reach in her cage, but I did manage to pet her today after a few tries. We are thinking about fencing in the front porch & putting her out there in the day time, but I dont know, I am thinking of turning her loose this summer in the back yard, maybe get a few more rabbits & put out there too, start me a rabbit farm!! LMAO I do think she would be a lot happier than being caged up all the time...even if it does mean her life may be shorter, I believe short & happy is better than long & miserable!! We will see i guess.

Found a kitten on the road on May 19th, pretty bad shape, about 5-6 weeks old, skinny & dehydrated. She is a beautiful dark calico & I have named her Calli. Brought her home (of course) and have become 'Mommy' to her. after just a couple of days she is now looking healthier, although still pretty skinny & still has a watery eye, but her coat is shiny now & she has gained a bit of weight in just 2 days. she is now litter trained, and becoming very playful. Going to pick her up some toys & kitten food today (she has been eating milk & can cat food since it was all I had on hand) She loves to sleep in my lap & still tries to suckle on my clothes, but seems to be getting past that a bit today. She played a bit this am with a piece of string & is now curled in my lap asleep. I have been keeping her in the bathroom at night & when I go out, she seems to be tolerating this well, other than attacking me for attention when I let her out. She does seem to like to pick on my pet rabbit who at the moment doesnt seem to be in the best of moods (we believe she is in heat) and doesnt want her near her cage. I havent been able to get the rabbit out for a few days, due to her mood, but am hoping to get her out a bit this pm. Will let you know how that goes over....or not. Well, I am off to do some kitty shopping now.
